Cookie Policy
The short version
This website sets no first-party cookies and runs no advertising, marketing or profiling cookies of any kind. One strictly-necessary third-party cookie is set by Google reCAPTCHA, and only on our contact page, to tell people apart from bots. That is the whole of it.
We would rather this page be short and accurate than long and generic. If you are completing a vendor security review and need this in a different form, email privacy@secureaiguard.com and we will answer directly.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Related technologies — such as localStorage — also store data on your device without being cookies, so both are covered below.
Cookies set when you use this site
| Name | Category | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_GRECAPTCHA | Strictly necessary | Google (third party) | Anti-bot check on the contact form. Set by Google reCAPTCHA when the challenge loads on /contact, and only on that page. | Set and expired by Google |
Other storage on your device
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
sag.consent.analytics.v1 | Remembers whether you have allowed analytics, so you are not asked again on every page. Written only if you make a choice. | Until you clear your browser storage |
What we do not use
Stated explicitly, because their absence is the point:
- No advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies.
- No social media pixels or share-button trackers.
- No session recording, heatmap or scroll-tracking tools.
- No payment processor and no customer-support widget runs on this site, so neither sets anything on your device.
Analytics
No analytics cookies are set at the time of writing. Website analytics (Google Analytics 4) is built into this site but is not currently switched on, and while it is off no analytics script loads and no _ga cookie is written.
If we do switch it on, analytics storage will start in the denied state until you choose otherwise, this page will be updated in the same change to name Google as our processor and list the specific cookies and their lifetimes, and we will never enable advertising or ad-personalisation signals from it.
Managing Cookies
Because we set nothing that requires consent, there is currently no cookie banner to interact with — a banner asking permission for cookies that are not set would be noise, not compliance. To control what is stored on your device you can:
- Block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings.
- Clear this site's storage to remove the
localStorageentry listed above. - Read Google's own privacy documentation for the reCAPTCHA cookie, which is set on Google's domain and not ours.
Blocking cookies will not break this website. The only visible effect is that the contact form's anti-bot check may not load, and the form is designed to remain usable if that happens.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The date at the top of this page is the date of the last change.
